Affordable Accommodation in Seneca Rocks
Seneca House offers hostel style accommodation in a private home, located just 5 miles from the center of Seneca Rocks, West Virginia. It is a very unique, rustic cabin, built entirely by friends (no contractors), completed in May 2012.

The maximum number of guests is 8 people at any given time, who will stay in one of three rooms. You can book just a bed, or book an entire room. Guests are welcome to use the whole house. It is expected that they will respect each other as well as the house itself. Seneca House has been created to offer a nice setting for like-minded people to gather and stay at a reasonable price. It is geared toward climbers or other active visitors who've come to enjoy all that Seneca Rocks and the surrounding area has to offer. IT IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. However, responsible drinking and fun is welcome of course! Seneca House now also has a renovated barn available from May-October. See Rooms & Rates page for details.

Some Things You Should Know...
- There is a dog at the house (Bubba Lou). He's young and still being trained. So far he's been pretty good, but he's far from perfect. He is extremely friendly, but if you don't like animals, you might not like it here. Bubba Lou loves to snuggle on the sofa with guests! There are also chickens and two pygmy goats. Animal lovers preferred!
- There is no A/C. Each room has a fan. In winter there is a space heater for additional heat in each room.
- There is no way to lock up your personal belongings in the house.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Smoking on the deck or upper balcony is fine.
- There are 2 shared bathrooms in the house.
- Please do not come without a reservation. This is also a private home.
- There is no cell phone service in Seneca Rocks, or at the house. You can use the land line at the house for quick calls, but not for hour-long conversations, please.

Pet PolicyIt might be possible for your dog to stay, depending on several factors. Please contact me to discuss it.
